Summer Waterfall Shoot with Mora
What. A. Year.
As 2023 comes to a close, I remember how relaxed the past several months were supposed to be. With a couple big projects finally out of the way, we were going to have a pretty chill spring and summer, punctuated by a few epic hikes in preparation for a big fall adventure to the Himalayas.
The Himalaya trip did happen in October - and we had a fantastic time! - but the months leading up to our trip were anything but relaxed. We lost some loved ones in the spring, got busy with paid work (including a full calendar of boudoir shoots) in the summer, and launched a new business venture in the fall. I had big plans to work on some personal projects this year, but in the middle of the other chaos, I didn’t get to spend nearly as much time on them as I’d hoped.
With a couple of fantastic exceptions, that is. In late June, we got to shoot with Mora at some waterfalls in the southern Black Hills, and I’ve finally finished editing the set. They were worth the wait! The shots are absolutely stunning.
We worked in a few boudoir-style shots during our time at the cascades, but I’m also hoping to use some of our work as part of a series of fine art landscape nudes set in South Dakota. (If you’re interested in collaborating with me on future sets, drop me a line!)
In the meantime, I can’t wait to work with Mora again. She’s an amazing model!
